North Bay: Sanlucar de Barrameda, Chipiona and Costa Ballena

Sanlucar de Barrameda: large sandy beach, lively in summer, Atlantic type with little waves his hand near the mouth of the Guadalquivir.

Chipiona beach or city especially you can walk and enjoy some tapas.

Costa Ballena: Great beach but totally artificial new city made only for mass tourism abroad.

Despite the presence of the ocean who moderates the climate, July and August are hot. It's better to wait until August to go near Cadiz. The weather still good until the end of October but be careful in the late October and the start of November the weather can change very quicly like tropical storms (it's not a joke ...).

Tip to go to Cadiz

With a little sweater the visit of the area near Cadiz is possible all the Winter (some days are cold in January and first part of February) but when you know that the temperatures still over 10 degrees Celsius by night ...

In summer, if you stay near the ocean, the temperature are not hot as in Sevilla. However, be careful to the hot streets in the cities ... like Jerez de la frontera or Sevilla where the sun shine and the temperatures are near 45 degrees in July and August.
