Definitely we were talking about in a previous article about the floods in the community of Madrid in Arganda del Rey this Monday, August 26, 2019.

But the capital of Spain has also experienced record rainfall brought by the cold taste from the west of the Iberian Peninsula.

This Monday night there is in Madrid up to 40 liters of rain per square meter in less than an hour!

The heart of these torrents was between 17:00 and 18:00 Monday, cars were even submerged by floods in the center of Spain.

These torrents of water in the capital and some cities around are due to very strong hail precipitations which in melting caused this devastation.

The Madrid City Hall had to close some roads and motorways and the underground in the center, underground stations had an increased risk of flooding, some were damaged.

Now this Tuesday, August 27, 2019 it is the turn of the community of Valencia to undergo this disturbance with rain, hail and wind announced in Valencia, Benidorm, Alicante and the entire Spanish community.

In the community of Madrid, a city was caught in huge floods, streets turned into a real torrent of water, taking everything in its path even the cars on this Monday, August 26, 2019.

That event was in Arganda del Rey (Madrid).

The disturbance that crosses the country since Sunday night is expected to come out of Spain by the Valencian community, with its rains and especially temperatures in August worthy of the end of autumn.

These rains should sweep the entire community, from Castellon to Alicante and Torrevieja, passing through Benidorm, Calpe, Cullera and Denia. An end of August very surprising in this year 2019 for the tourists and inhabitant of the Spanish region.
