Ana storm inside Spain December 2017
From this Sunday, December the 10th the Galician coast and Cantabria will experience episodes of heavy rain and especially wind with more than 120 km/h
The storm Ana that will cross the north of Spain as well as part of France with strong winds forced to exceptional measures.
Spanish Communities in Weather Alert
All the north of the country is in alert winds and rains including the regions of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, Navarre, La Rioja, Castile and Leon as well as Madrid and surroundings (Toledo, Guadalaraja, cuidad real) as well as west around Caceres.
Rainfall will decrease when arriving to the south in the Valencian community (Valencia to Alicante via Dénia, Benidorm and Cullera). However, in contact with the Mediterranean, the winds will strengthen when arriving on the Balearic Islands.
Note that even in Andalusia, we expect gusts of up to 80 - 90 km / h.
Restrictions Sunday, December 10 in Galicia
The community of Galicia has decided to suspend all competitions or sports meetings this Sunday because of intense weather, we expect up to 108 L of water per square meter.
Seaside walks are closed or strongly discouraged because of a very big swell.
