When does the Sevilla Feria 2026 take place?
In April in Seville, you always have Holy Week, which in 2026 takes place from Sunday, March 29, 2026, to Sunday, April 5, 2026.
But then comes the Sevilla Feria 2026, which will take place from Tuesday, April 21, 2026, to Sunday, April 26, 2026. Note that the festival's inauguration will take place the day before, on Monday, April 20, 2026, with the "Cena de Pescaito" (Fish Dinner). This tradition, which began before the Feria officially opened, dates back to the arrival at the new Feria site (El Barrio de Los Remedios), where vendors would enjoy these fried fish once their Casetas (market stalls) were set up.
Tuesday, April 21, official opening of the Alumbrao
The lighting of the "Alumbrao" marks the beginning of the Feria. Sevilla.
This takes place on the night of Monday, April 20th to Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at precisely midnight.
At midnight, the entrance to the Feria 2026 exhibition is illuminated. The people of Sevilla call it "Alumbrao".
From Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 to Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at the Seville Feria
The Feria is constantly punctuated by various events.
