Located southeast of Andalusia at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, Granada is a cultural and tourism but also a lively student city. Known mainly for its famous Alhambra Palace, Granada cache countless gems included some World Heritage by UNESCO. Its historic center is divided into four ancient cities: Albayzin (Muslim origin), the Realejo-San Matias (Jewish), the Sacromonte (gypsy) and the city center (Christian origin).

The Alhambra and the Generalife
Alhambra comes from the Arabic الحمراء, Al-Hamra ', which means "red" because of the color are the walls at sunset
