Nearby Tarifa : Cape trafalgar

Cabo Trafalgar takes its name from the Arabic Al-taraf al-agharr which means "Western Cape". Indeed, it is the low promontory northwest boundary of the Strait of Gibraltar. But it owes its fame to the naval battle that took place there 21 October 1805 between the forces of Franco-Spanish and the British navy under Admiral Nelson who won the victory.

The view of the Atlantic is magnificent even seen the magical turquoise blue waters. With good shoes and some effort, you will discover nice places to swim in this chaotic backdrop of the cliff. However, even if the places are famous for scuba diving, you show that more careful if you want to try the adventure: the sea is more than dangerous.
